On 04.04.2023 an exercise of the volunteer fire department Wört took place on our premises.

Such drills are very important in any company, primarily to ensure the safety of employees in the event of an emergency, as well as to protect property, meet legal requirements, promote cooperation as well as risk awareness, and overall establish a comprehensive emergency plan.

The incident report read "heavy smoke development at the training premises, as well as spilled hazardous substance with 3 missing person". When the fire department arrived at the scene, it quickly became clear that this was not an everyday exercise, but a very realistic rehearsal of an emergency situation.

After successfully rescuing the people, fighting the fire and securing the hazardous material, the operation was successfully completed at around 9 pm. This was followed by an inspection of the plant, during which possible hazards were pointed out once again. Finally, Sven Koch thanked the entire Wört fire department on behalf of the STOLZ management for the successful exercise in the context of a cozy get-together with snacks and drinks.
